Funding Stage

PerHydrogen opened its first major funding round in Q2 2026 to build a state-of-the-art microbiology facility in Cape Town. The plant is designed to produce tens of millions of units across over 150 products—from prepared plate media to bottled and tube media—serving the clinical, pharmaceutical, food, water, and industrial sectors across Southern Africa and beyond. The facility and equipment are build-ready, including our collaborative robotic system for viral transport medium—ready to build and, once commissioned, able to support outbreak response such as the current DRC Ebola outbreak.
